Also of political note: George Smitherman’s campaign booth was surrounded by dancing drag queens, and Rocco Rossi’s booth was flanked by booths who hate Rocco Rossi (the Toronto Gay Hockey League, I believe), and who put up their own George Smitherman signs just to spite the Rossi supporters.

Of non-political note: I was invited to a bear event called the Beef Ball. I politely declined the invite.

Two main themes emerged in the competition: veiled homophobia and semi-topical celebrity topics! With that in mind, we made two of our own images which would win the competition, had we entered them:
